The Prayer of the Parish Community of St. Michael Catholic Church
Heavenly Father, thank you for revealing yourself to us through your son, Jesus Christ.
Fill us with your Holy Spirit, that we may be empowered to seek and to do your will.
May we be a people of prayer who seek you daily in times of meditation
and weekly in the celebration of the Eucharist.
May we be a people who are confident and joyful in sharing the good news of the Gospel.
Make us sensitive to the needs of all hurting and poor people.
Help us to be kind in our judgments of each other and always willing to forgive and
overlook the weaknesses of others.
Make us a people who reflect deeply on the meaning of our faith,
a people who are always willing to learn and grow.
May we be willing to serve you in serving each other and whomever you bring to us today.
With you we will build good relationships, study the Catholic faith,
share the faith with our next generation, promote the good of all,
and cherish the gift of all your creation.
Help us to live always in joyful praise and thanksgiving.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
